Settesoli Nerello Cappuccio Pinot Nero Collection, an explosion of persistence and elegance, a blend of 50% native Nerello Cappuccio and 50% of the internationally renowned Pinot Nero.
Nerello Cappuccio, which owes its name to the conformation of its leaves, which, like a hood, wrap around the bunches of grapes, protecting them from the weather, prefers medium-textured soils, while Pinot Nero has found its home in Sicily on medium-textured, calcareous soils. Harvesting takes place in the first ten days of September for Nerello Cappuccio and at the end of August for Pinot Nero. Fermentation takes place in steel silos at a controlled temperature. Refinement for at least 4 months in the bottle follows. It is ruby red in colour with garnet hues; it envelops the palate with delicious notes of cherry and blackberry, complemented by a rounded finish.
