Grape: Frappato
One of Sicily's most interesting native red grapes, Frappato, a grape typical of the eastern part of the island. Red wines made from pure Frappato grapes are smooth, light, and highly elegant. A contemporary and fascinating grape, Frappato is excellent even when enjoyed slightly chilled, and pairs beautifully with both fish and meat, but is also excellent as an aperitif.
