Syrah wine from the Principi di Spadafora winery is an organic red wine produced in the Monreale area of Sicily. This wine shows a ruby red colour, which is a prelude to an intensely aromatic nose in which notes of ripe red fruits, such as blackberries and raspberries, emerge, enriched by nuances of sweet spices and a light touch of vanilla, resulting from aging in wood.

On the palate, the wine demonstrates a robust but harmonious structure. Black fruit flavours blend with accents of black pepper and chocolate, resulting from careful maturation in oak barrels, which does not overpower but perfectly marries the natural flavours of Syrah. The vineyard is worked organically without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers, respecting the terroir and promoting biodiversity.

Aging: Spontaneous fermentation from pied de cuve dI Sicilian grapes in the absence of sulfur dioxide, in concrete tanks. Maceration up to 8 days at controlled temperature.
